A Site to Record and Share

a brief summary of the past two months

i have run a quick through to HTML, CSS and Javascript, so got a basic understanding of how front-end programming works and can build up simple websites myself. actually i built up my own portfolio attached to my resume and also tried to take the challenges from some online programs, like front-end mentor, etc. i can complete some of the tasks myself, i might need reference for some other tasks. so i would say the overall progress is quite stable.

the main focus of the current stage will still be front-end, like more advanced level of css and javascript, maybe trying to create more complicated websites. and, probably will jump on some real projects though i know in real life, thing will get much more complex immediately, especially when it comes to communications with clients and various requests. the good thing is, it will be faster for us to know what we don’t know yet and is quite important and it can push us to get skilled at what we need much quicker.

i think in every field, whether it’s programming, design, or photography, etc. if we want to dig deeper, it can become much more complicated and seems there is no end of it as we always can find something new and we don’t know about, but we still can get start on it even though we are still at the very first stage.

thinking too much of the complicated things on what we are working on might probably frighten ourselves, causing us quitting as it can be very huge and overwhelming. but on the other side, if we don’t take it seriously or think it does not cause much effort to get done quite well, then probably we will fail and can not learn anything though it seems we are working on it and time and energy are spent. so, that’s back to what is called balance, or the old Chines saying, Yin and Yang. actually everything is a person’s life needs balance.

so, next step is ready.
