haven’t accessed my website during the last weekend, and wanted to give it a random check just now but noticed it’s down, with the error message like this:
as MySQL is the database for my website, so remote to the host and check MySQL status, and notice it’s down (for more than one day…Oops, would be sorry for my users if .they were using my website for blogs, etc.)
run the command: sudo systemctl start mysql.service, and then it’s back to active
give it a refresh, and now my website is back to normal
there might be multiple reasons why MySQL fails to get started, especially when we can not start it again. but as a simple start gets it back to normal, I will just let it go. maybe will dig deeper if any other issues happen or this same issue comes back again.
