have registered personal domain on the government website and got the permission to set up personal websites on the servers hosted in mainland China as the performance is much better compared with those with similar configuration but in other regions.
have also set up the personal website (for practice purpose only) and currently it’s running well, without any issue, which is good and which means there is no problem for me to get a website built and put into production environment…ok, at least it runs and i know there is much more work to be done from here, like website optimization, security concerns and the availability to the end users, etc. and that will be my next step.
the current plan is i will move on to the next step as described above and write down the details of the problem i face and the resolution, the methods that work better, the technology i will use for my website, etc., for recording purpose for the most. as i know, when it comes to deeper level, though i can get the work done and problem sorted out, very probably when i face it again, i will need to check the documentation and instructions again as i did the first time. if so, maybe writing it down, and probably summarizing to certain extent, is much better and more efficient when i need to do it again, by referring my own notes.
previously, i though of a lot of technologies, cloud, automation, network, container, etc., all of which are attracting to me as i want to dig deeper from the technical perspective and become expert to certain level. but now it seems not possible in all those aspects, but i can try with one of them as the most important one, and also working on the rest. very probably when i get familiar enough with this one, i will need to put more focus on another related, because as Kung fu, when it comes to higher level, different schools seems getting closer to each other and to the highest, there is no meaning to school difference as it’s the similar concept or thoughts. to technology, different perspective are related to each other, like server, network, security, platform, programming, container, etc. we can not talk about one without knowing others. and when it comes to higher level, more knowledge on other aspects are required as well.
so for the current stage, i will focus mainly on the website building and bettering and related work, until i see the necessity to switch to another if that one becomes the most obvious obstacle preventing me moving forward in this direction. let’s see how it goes.
