Hey there, more than two months since my last post. i have been working on html&css&javascript by following tutorials for creating few projects because i want to get a deeper understanding of how basic website works and then create some websites on my own and hopefully they can attract some attention.
i think probably in every filed, hard skills matter but is not the most important. hard skill can only guarantee we get the work done. but how the final work looks like and how its audience comment or respond is another thing. that’s when thoughts and creativity start showing their values. i have checked and followed some experts and their projects and am really impressed how they think and how they organize their projects, whether it’s a simple single-page website or complicated portfolio. when this part is done, the rest is much easier as all we need to do is turn the thoughts and plan into real projects with the fundamental hard skills we have. and you know what, we might not be familiar with some complicated or difficult to understand technologies, but we can still get the work done with some other skills and technologies. that won’t be a problem.
the next step will still be practice, practice and practice, until i can turn what i have learnt into my own knowledge and create some websites or portfolios on my own thoughts and creativity.
another thing i have noticed is whatever you spend your time on will pay off at last. you might not see the point for now and maybe even after a very long period and you might want to give up. DON’T. just carry on. like, i am grateful to the time i have spent learning photoshop and illustrator though i am still not good at them. but they do help much when it comes to website development, especially when there are many images i want to add.
